Connect and Change the World
The idea of building bridges through spiritual networking appeals to me.
I’m all for moving from the pyramid, top-down power structure that protects the self-interest of a limited few to horizontal-linking, with individuals at its center.
Hierarchies fail to solve society’s problems. We need people to talk to one another, exchange resources, contacts, and information–connect and change the world.
Our Shared Humanity
Networks liberate and empower the individual. They fulfill a need for belonging.
The theme video for my blog has a similar message to the one shared below by Humanity Healing.
Humanity Healing’s concept of Spiritual Networking can be condensed down to this single concept: to make this world a better place by gathering as many willing hearts as possible, be they individuals or organizations, and assisting with synchronization so that together we can send our actions and intentions out through the connection of our shared Humanity.
That’s why I write.
And that’s why I blog.

Community is how we are going to heal ourselves. Joining other is our most important task, so thank you, thank you for this post!

You’re welcome, Jodi. I believe we’re both attempting to “join other” through our blogs. I’m glad I found your site, such an inspiration.

Beautifully stated, Margaret. That’s why I write as well and try to connect with others. Many writers tend to be very introverted, as is the case with me. It takes great effort for me to get out and speak with people, but I find it easier to do with spiritual networking. There’s an openness to this I don’t find in other types of social groups, and I’m glad I found my way into this niche.

Thanks, Rosi. And that’s what we bloggers do: exchange resources, contacts, and information to connect and change the world.

I so agree, Eleni. Writing is a lonely business. But today we are forced to reach in order to market our own work, something with which we have a love-hate relationship. The good thing is that we’re forced to connect. And yes, I believe visionary fiction makes the reaching out and connecting easier.

I love your thoughts on the matter. We could certainly use more that in today’s world, don’t you think? I love blog theme video. 🙂
